Hermanville vs D6H

He moved in 11th Armoured which has 6 fireflies. He advanced slow. I kept 3 panthers back by our supply vl but none forward. I tried a few shrek shots on his tanks but no major damage. He gained some ground with tank and inf advance.

Buron vs D6H

He attacked from the south in the town. I killed more of his infantry and 2 tanks, and captured one. He spotted my tiger and attacked with 3 tanks (2 fireflies) and managed to kill it - I didn't have much ammo and no fuel. I resecured our abbaye vl and our vet mg team got another 6 kills or so. It has over 30 kills!

Bretteville vs Karlmortar

I chose a commando mission for myself: take the supply vl to Cristot back if possible, but without risking any panzers.

I took 2 fresh recon cars and 1 pz IV. the recon cars got fuel and pz iv did not.

I did a diversionary attack (hoping it might suceed too but was very hard ( on the middle train station. It failed and I lost 3 teams doing so. One guy survived and I used him to scout the west area (supply vl). He panicked but luckily he ran into the street and spotted 2 inf teams and 2 m10s before surrendering.

I snuck my assault force (5 inf teams) toward the nw town. once i was close and no mgs encoutnered, I recon assaulted the church and found 2 teams there - moved recon car up under heavy fire from 6 pdr but survived with speed and got to the church, hammered the inf while my inf teams assaulted. Met heavy inf resistance after the church and couldn't get recon car past the hedges so I just used my mgs to fight them and flanked with my platoon leader and another team. Managed to wipe out the other 2 squads of brits but then the m10s were in the street. They don't have mgs (the m10s) so last 10s I rushed across the street and got the vl!!!

Yes, now we can move 21 pz back and move panthers in (otherwise was thinking we might have to disband this bg 21 Pz).

I was amazed I completed this mission Razz

abbey vs karlmortar

i did not want to lose any men and hold the allies in there zone. I sneaked the buron exit vl but he got it back with a counter-atack. after that i moved a PzIV that had fuel to support in the capture of the buron exit. it got hit by a sherman, immob, but in the tank duel the PzIV won. in the end he moved a few infantry teams towards the church. a bloody battle untill the end and as a result he got a few houses.

crew working on repairs.

after that we played on cean, he took out a panther but my atack was going pretty good. but it crashed...

Tilly vs Karlmortar

i thought he would atack but that did not happen. he sneaked two teams towards the west exit vl, they both got hit by my men and of both teams only one survived. i used the 20mm HT to sweap the town, after a few kills he got fed up with me killing his men and used recce.car to destroy it. i also made some gains in the east.

hottot vs karlmortar

i knew the allies dident have much infantry or armor left so i tried to atack. in the first min he assaulted in the east but my jagdpanzer and infantry took a cromwell and two teams out. karl got my 88 with 4 mortar rounds, lucky. after that it went fast. i chewed up some more infantry teams and another cromwell was shot by the jagd. he had a firefly covering the exit vl. i sneaked an infantry behind it and got the vl. i rushed another team on the tank and the jag and got his main gun. it went very well and this allied bg is done for, they will disband and move in a new bg...i think.

Jagd proved deathly today

nice work. They will probably disband yeah. They can still reinforce bg but won't til they have supply.

Caen vs Ghoa

He attacked with infantry towards the north over open ground and our mgs and mortars slaughtered him.

Then he moved up a tank and I tried to shrek it but didn't do much damage.

I killed a 6 pdr with mgs and finished it with a flank shot from a panther.

Killed a lot of his infantry. Minor losses for us. He used his air (fighter bomber) that killed one panther crewman but no permanent damage, but it did wipe out a platoon leader in a house.

Carp vs Loki

He came very hard. He took all new vehicles since he is out of supply. I had a shrek that you can see in the picture that took out a sherman and and damaged an M10. A inf gun car took out one of his humbers. We had minor inf losses and no gun losses (didn't take any). Mortars and mgs made short work of his sneaking inf teams.

I think it was blind rage that made him attack this hard. He was charging forward with all kinds of vehicles over open ground without smoke cover and my shreks were having a field day - he couldn't spot them cause infantry were too far back and getting mowed down by mgs.

Also killed a gun (not sure what it was, but it had high rate of fire - dropped arty on it).

Vimont vs Loki

He attacked hard to the east. Our at gun shot at his sherman 3 times but didn't immob or kill him. He snuck infantry to the east and my inf couldn't stop his sherman. Finally at gun and shrek killed sherman last second but he rushed inf towards the vl and I barely got it contested. I lost 2 marders to long range tank fire that I couldnt spot. He is pushing hard to get supply (but he won't get it since 21 pz is on map to the east) so not sure what he is doing actually. Unless he wants to move to the east. I don't understand why they keep moving out of supply but it seems Loki thinks that is the only way for his side to win.

cagney vs Ghoa

brits had to atack, i wanted to counter atack. at the first min i saw a little car in the east, i used my flak37 to atack it but it got killed by a howitzer. after that he moved a lot of troops to the vimont exit and towards the other southwest exit. lucky i had a few troops with good firing position`s shoting them in the flank. then he moved his last sherman up in the main street but it got sighted by the pak43. one shot Boem! after that i counteratacked in the southeast. and took out a lot of teams and gained a lot of ground. if the game only lasted 1 min i could have disbanded them because they had nothing left and i would have had al the vl`s. next time we will disband them...

i tried to stop the allie´s advance but he broke my lines in the north side and took some vl´s. i destroyed a gun and a little tank

Glad you got to play.

Lets stop using panzers when we're out of supply. We've lost over 130 panzers and still have 10 days to go. Allies have hundreds of tanks left Smile

what can i say?... he disbandme.
i tried to defend the vl but ghoah made an incredible assault with a very good support. my troops were wasted by the fist of uncle sam. my at team and pak were not enouh to stop his tanks.
i will try to better next time but this map was very hard to keep on.
