AAR

vs Panzermayer

Probably my crapiest round in TRSM ever...

Buron.
Had to spread my forces a lot to cover all the ground. Pzmayer could had sneaked in from anywhere.
Unfortuneatly, he managed to SNEAK in a Tiger!
With a couple of grenadiers, the Tiger Banzaied the North Supply and Killed a poor defenseless M4.

Managed to keep his Tiger and grenadiers away from the VL for a while, but soon he started sneaking again, and he took the VL. My Infantery couldn't see them sadly, and my second Sherman didn't manage to slow or kill any with inderectfire.

Pretty much else didn't happen. Met a lot of HV fire elswhere on the map.

The Disaster complete...

To put a long and horrible (not to mention bloody) story short, It was like a Blitzkrieg assault with Panthers.

Being totaly unprepeared for this, we were totaly slaughtered.
All the tanks were lost in the first 5 minutes.
Had 3 PIAT AT groups, but they never got any chance to fire.
Tried desperatly to defend the Supply VL. I withdrew any one I could back to the VL, but most of the men surrendered on the way.
Only 2 mortar Sections remained to defend the VL.
But they didn't manage. They ran the other direction.

Pzmayer had armed himself with the following:
2 Mortar HT
6 Grenadier Squads
AND
7 Panther tanks!!!

Results:

I'm terrebly sorry for this mess. Embarassed

Abbaye VS Bjorn

NOthing much happend i found it hard to put up an fight, he had some tanks whit him but they were held back, he used an 20 mm to slughter my men missed it whit several shoot whit piat.

Time to swap this bg gentlemen.... running low on everything espesially deploy zones

Meow it was close he disbanded us here. lost two piats and some infantry and a ff nearly got a panther 1 direct hit in front armor but nothing and second shot from 40 meter the idiot misses. lost some infantry and expanded our deploy somewhat theres still an big threat that they will disband us here. got no manuver room for tanks here so skip em next round stick whit 6 pdr and piats here. my 2 other tanks were imob by arty. the enemy easily bloks an road whit placing an panther in the far end of it beaware

Lingreves vs bjorn

I took it nice and easy here setting up postions so i could kill his men at ease. i manged to destroy a jadgpz whit a side shoot from Achilles killed a inf HT and i think i got a pak 75 as well not seen in results but they had lost half crew. suffered minor inf losses, got back the most western VL donnu name. he had a flame HT that prevented me from further actions down south unforutunatly. As any time on this map the AA humber worked like a dream even the humber armored car were usefull and neither were lost.

AAR

Vs Pzmayer

Ok this time I screw up again, but bad luck had a lot to do with it.
Now we must take over Lingevres or retake Tilly supply VL to gain supply.

Tilly Sur Seulles

Deployed a 6pdr, a PIAT, a mortar section, a Riflegroup and a Cmnd group to defend our supply VL.

Deployed the rest to assault the north VL, and a few to guard the southern line.

Right in the begining, a Pz IV stood on the bridge and charged forward.
The 6pdr ATG ( 40 meters away in front of the Pz IV) fired at the panzer, but nothing happened.

While still moving, the panzer destroyed the ATG with one shot.
A near by PIAT ( 30 meters away) tried to blow it up, but both bombs missed, and they were quickly killed.
The panzer took the supply VL.
A second panzer dashed over the bridge. The Crab took a potshot at it, but only damaged it.
The Pz in turn, immobed the Crab.
Now with 2 panzer IVs and a lot of Pz Grenadiers on the other side of the bridge, it was impossible to retake it.
Guarding the bridge now, was an other Pz IV and a Tiger I.

A fourth Pz IV was spotted near the Bocage VL, and a StuG III Guarded the Lingevres Supply VL.

After I lost the Supply Vl, much didn't happen.

Assaulted the Ling. VL and secured the woods.

With nearly no ammo, no fuel and very few troops, this map reminds me of the Battle for Arnhem...

6 pdrs fail once again (well, not completly) and only damaged a jagdpz ( main gun destroyed).
The 2nd jagdpz destroyed the ATG ( once again 1 shot ).
But a PIAT managed to nail their LAST (or their 2nd last ) flame HT!
But the PIAT gunners got anhaliated by the 2nd jgdpz.

Pz Grenadiers charged the bocage strong point VL, and after a bloody fight, I lost.
Germans charged across the road with inf and lost a lot of the due to a Vickers.
moved a Mortar section to cover the headges ( with great results )
The krauts began charging twords the junction VL.
A Jagdpz appeared on the west road, and the 6pdr managed to destroy the main gun.
But an other Jagdpz (the 3rd ) on the southern west dirt road destroyed the last 6pdr ( once again again 1 shot! )
The Badly damaged jgdpz took the junction VL and moved north, but a fuel empty Cromwell ambushed it.
But after 6 AP shots ( at a range of 40 meters) nothing had happened!
The germans abandoned the tank instead!!

Seriously our tanks is a little bit undergunned. At least the Cromwells, the Shermans seems to have a much higher probability to kill a panzer.

Retook Junction VL and held the left side of the road.

Results:

Troarn

Deployed a couple of 6pdrs to defend supply VL.
Sadly, 2 Shermans out of 4 had no fuel, and what is even worse is that they where in bad positions.

secured the headges east of our deploym killed a pzgrenadier squad and lost a Cmnd squad.
Vickers nailed a half-section of grenadiers on the road.
French Command HT behind the central house VL, unable to get a shot at it.
A "regular" APC HT moves next to the headges and twords our Supply VL, but gets destroyed by rifle fire.
The first 6pdr ATG gets destroyed by 2 Pz IVs (coming from the place the HT was destroyed).
The 6pdr manags to squeez of 2 shots with no effect.
For the fourth tie (!!!???) they destroy the 6pdr with one shot.
But now, my second 6pdr destroys one of the panzers ( with one shot Smile

)
The second one pulled back.
An other french HT (armed with a PaK 40) destroys a Sherman III, from the other half-side of the map, and for the last time: with one shot!
( You might guess I'm a bit pissed of and whiny right now!!! Evil or Very Mad

)

Not much els happened.
STormed the house near the railroad VL and secured the Vl as well.
Lost a lot of men due to HV MG42 and Pz III fire.

AAR

vs Pzmayer

Colombelles

Followed HQ orders and secured both southern VLs and almost the entire eastern factory.

Tried to take the Caeen road VL, but Reece team got wiped out by HMG 42

With hv suppresive fire on the southern buildings, a Rifle Section secured the naerby VL and the 3 buildings.
Eliminated a 3-man Pznahkampf group, 1 prisioner. ( Later he got accidently shot during the suppressive fire)

With smoke cover between the building and the factory, the Churchill moved southwards to the VL.
A Marder III took a shot at it, but nothing happened.
Churchill fired back, but Marder backed to safety behind the western factory.

But assaulting Troarn supply road VL proved to be suicidal with inf.
Panzermayer's men had it covered with HMG 42, the MAder III and a russian 76mm ATG on the railway tracks.
But with a LOT of smoke the Churchill charged the VL, taking 2 direct hits.
Undamaged, the Churchill secured the VL and backed to safety.

( I relyed a lot on the Churchill's thick armor, which proved to be a good choise!)

wih only 1 minute to go, panzermayer charged the Troarn road VL with a grenadier squad.
Having been prepeared for this, 2 Rifle sections and the Churchill opened fire, killing the grenadiers in one wolly.

Factory was almost secured, but 1-2 grenadier squads halted the attack pretty efficently.

Results:

Time for stratmoves ! Very Happy
