here are some of my thoughts..........

I think we should disband at Kuporosnoye, then let them reappear the next day.

I also think it is about time to go on the attack with armor we have over a week of fighting left but i think were in good position to carry out these attacks if we are very careful!!!!!

Maps I think we should consider attacking if not this turn then soon would be as..........

6th tank brigade to flight school. Establish our selves on the map with smart slow attacks to not loose tanks but slowly take ground.

189 tank brigade to tsaritsa woods. The BG they have sitting here is NO MATCH for our BG, I would again just make slow smart attacks gaining ground slowly with out risking tanks.

27th tank brigade to west stalingrad. Again we establish ourselves on the map with slow smart attacks not risking tanks but gaining ground slowly.
THE MOVE OF 189TH TANK BRIGADE AT TSARITSA WOODS WILL CUT THIS MAP OFF!

I would leave our other two tank brigades 133 and 6 Guards on the maps they currently are on.

I would bring some of our infantry BG's up for support of the tanks BG's.

THEY ARE NOT EXPECTING US TO ATTACK SO WE HAVE THE ELEMENT OF SUPRISE ON OUR SIDE!

hehehehe must have considered them not to long, you moved the only two BG's I suggested leaving in place. Which both were in perfect defensive positions. One Question with total respect how do you expect to fight with thte KV's in the city? line them up in the streets for target practice for there ATG's when the kv's move they are already slow now moving in the rubble they will be even slower plus probally get tracked. Now this BG with low numbers of infantry will have to sustain themselves in house to house close combate. Should be interesting on this flank now. Smile

And Ovranaysha will be also attacked and taken over. I see no good from this, but will see.

Glad to see you have faith in me.

6th Guards Tanks were not opposed by armor so I am sending them to take care of panzer bg on RO North which has 7 Pz IVG and 15 Pz IIIJ.

The German bgs that will come to Ovrashnaya have stugs or marders but not a large amount of panzers.

The KVs will go back to Tsarita Crossing after they inflict some damage on the german pz IVGs. The rubble is a concern, but there are roads. You don't have to fight that map, no worries.

Try to keep pessimism to private messages, we need our comrade soldiers to have confidence for the upcoming battles!

I do like the attack plan, just not yet. Still 12 more days and 24 strat turns. We have 74 T-34s and they are most effective in large formations but we need them to last. I'm hoping Ghoa convinces Ifoko he must attack with his panzer divisions (and, he must if they want to win - they don't have enough maps/vls yet to win) as we will have the terrain advantage and be on defense and kill his panzers more easily. If not, we will attack with our tank formations in a few days as you suggest.

I forgot to disband Kuporosnoye and Ifoko wouldn't let me go back so just use 1 sniper and let them disband you.

The key is to attack some maps in order to keep iniciative... so they can't get more points or ways to our maps. We hace some days to attack but i think flight scholl and taritsa are the key to destroy their attack capacity.

my points are not of pessimism they are of concern. Ovranaysha will surely be attacked and lost, it is a key map on our flank that now has no stopping power. Also usig the limited numbers of infantry in KV BG to do a majority of fighting where tanks can not reach is a concern to me again not pesimism.

Also it is not a concern of mine fighting on any map. The BG that was sitting on Chuikovs HQ the Guards IMO is better suited for city fighting than the KV BG, the KV can not go into buildings and take them over. And we will have one road when we enter this map.They can put ATG anywhere in the rubble and can not be spotted. So our tanks now are caught with only the single road to go up with ATG lurking everywhere besides Artillery and Air strikes coming.

I am voicing my concerns and trying to point out why I think so. I am by no means saying I have any better idea than anyone else. But if you want me to post my opinions then I think that i must be able to post my concerns with out them being thought of as pessimism.

This is suppose to be an open forum for discussion for tactics if mine oppose yours it has nothing to do with faith in what you are doing. There is always more than one way to do things. I do think though that I can bring up concerns with out people thinking I am trying to bring down our team.

In the end you get to make the final call any ways. This is no way meant to be disrespectful. I have no hard feelings over any of this and I hope you do not as well that was not my intention.

Dehm thats exactly where i said we should attack.

I think Ovrashnaya will be attacked but not necessarily taken over (not surely).

The attack you are urging is in the works. Just need a few more strat moves.
