June 21st PM (appears as 7th in game):

General orders for this turn's battles: general defense. Ambush. Counterattack when necessary. Maximize tank kills. Minimize our tank, at, and shrek losses.

Specific Orders for turn:

Lingevers - we attack from SW. They will try to disband us, possibly. Hold your ground and towards the end expand your deploy if possible. If we can survive we cut supply. If he attacks and loses most of his men counterattack and gain as much ground as possible.

Tilly - meeting engagement, us from SW, them from East. Push hard. You have many panzers at your disposal but don't waste them. Try for pz engagements with 2 or 3 to 1 pz vs tank.

Proto - change as needed.

My two cents:
Bois du Buvent: is it worth to put a panzer BG there?
buron: we most hold that one and we need to get the enemy out of abbey de ardenne.
Lingevres and Tilly: atack and try to disband so we can move up to Bayeux, cruelly, gold beach and juno beach.

but the safe thing would be to try and defend the land that we got Smile Defense is always great Smile

Panzermayer,

Good comments.

In the long run, no, in the short run, yes just to drive the AB back a bit. Then we can move an inf bg in there.

buron: we most hold that one and we need to get the enemy out of abbey de ardenne.

Agree. Hold in Buron. I captured all but 1 vl but it will be hard to do anything but defend here until we get supply. We don't get supply til we clear abbaey de ardenne.

Attack Abbaye de Ardenne - heavy assault authorized. I tried it this turn and failed but you may succeed.

Lingevres and Tilly: atack and try to disband so we can move up to Bayeux, cruelly, gold beach and juno beach.

Agree, attack. Don't have to disband immediately unless you can do so without major losses. We have to conserve our limited tanks and troops or allies will win long run. Attack hard in Tilly and see my earlier comments re Lingevers.

but the safe thing would be to try and defend the land that we got Smile Defense is always great Smile

Indeed. Defense is our main goal at this early point in the op. We want to wear down the allies armor - if we kill enough tanks we can counter towards the middle with a push of our panthers.

why move the panthers out of cean and into collombelles?
we can still win this thing, in the north we can hold a good line but in the sector middle and south i dont have a lot of hope. we are wasting on of our best BG on burn.

could it be a good idea to withdraw from a few maps where we dont have a good bridgehead. we stabalize the front, can put some infantry BG`s in the frontline and give our best BG`s a little bit of rest.

Panzermayer,

If you look up at my previous post with screenshots you will see that Kassad made strat move errors in the south. Now we will have to fix them Sad

Guys,

Yes I think we should withdrawal the SS panther bg from colombelles immediately. Only deploy with inf this turn and do not try to advance.

Panzermayer - good job last turn in your battles. Wish I could say the same about all of mine.

We are losing a lot of panzers. The allies are making it their #1 priority to kill as many of our panzers as possible (in fact they are reporting all tank kills to their commanders). Try to advance sometimes with mainly infantry attacks if possible, especially in urban maps. We have lost over 10 panzers in Abbaye with little ground gained.

Lets try to disband them on Hottot and Tilly. Stay on offensive in north and defensive middle and south. Try to clear Abbaye with mortar barrage and inf/pioneer/shrek attack.

Thank you Bjorn *S*

new moves. i think we need to stay put and need to clear abbey. after we cleared that map we can think about offensive play.

we have 4 arty support. 3 in the center area and 1 on hottot.

we also get a new reserve BG, the 192th panzer grenadier-regiment. 21 pz.div. i suggest moving it to Bourgubous in the south.

Abbey d`Ardenne stratagy: arty and mortar barrage on the houses near the NE exit vl on the 10th minute. after that we rush 5 or 6 teams, under the cover of smoke, with long range support from Panzers in the field. we rush these team true the wood area and the house near the NE exit vl. we put a pz IV in the street in the city to give cross support and we just fire the shit out of them for the firts 10 minutes with our panzers and pak`s. i hope this will work:P

Moving 192 pz reg to Bourgubous sounds good. Stay put other maps.

I like your arty placement, but I would move the one from Buron to Tilly,
so have arty on Tilly, Lingevers, abbaye, and lebissey woods.

We need to do like you say and keep any panzers we use in abbaye way back out of pioneer/piat range. Our Pioneers and inf will have to do most of the work and we need to use fausts to take out any tanks at close rang that are guarding the town vls.

possible strat moves and orders:

I.6 Lehr to Bretteville - use recon cars, inf, mortars to find and kill his at guns then full panther attack with inf screening in front. Get some ground at least in the northern town. Ride them down and use their fear of panthers to your advantage!!! Have fun with this one Smile

Hottot: Attack put pressure on them and take as much ground as possible. We want to clear them soon so we can relieve and give supply to lingevers.

Lingevers: Try to hold the west vl panzermayer captured. If we clear hottot we can get supply from there. But mainly hold the other vl at all costs.

Troarn: Full attack, disband them with heavy panzer and inf attack.

Buron: defend what we have especially exit vl to west.

Caen: Put arty here if we have it. stay put let them come to us. Disband if they do, unless you would lose panthers. Keep them contained.

192 pz reg in bourgebous - move towards bois de bavent

Tigers on buron to abbey. i checked the deploy and the allies do not have any VL`s, there deploy is scatterd in two area`s

if we make this move, we can take them out on this map in one move.

The SS bg on abbey moves to brettvile and make a bridgehead in the southern town using a slow atack with a lot of support and if the allies are stupid they atack with there infantry BG thats on brettvile towards our Lehr Panthers or towards carpequit airport and then we should have brettvile, the tigers on abbey in supply and a allied bg cut off.

and the panzer grenadiers on bourgebous go to cagney...to cover the south flank of cean

just my thoughts.
