13th AM strat orders:

Make moves as above (including support). Loki or I will make the moves.

Map objectives: Hold the exit vls at all costs. Try to slow the germans with ptrd (vs panzers) and maxims, inf ambush (vs inf). Immob and kill the stugs and panzer IVs if possible. Be careful to guard supply/exit vl the Germans have the strength to push hard and if they break our line we will have bgs behind us and our supply will be cut

Kuibishev in south is difficult but you must hold vl to Kuposnoye at all costs (NE vl) - use grenade teams, ptrd, at guns.

In general, try not to use too many at guns because we have very few. Use them mainly to guard our supply vls (with covering fire on panzers).

We did very well first turn men. Good stug and panzer kills.

I think we should pull a few of our bgs back onto safer maps. We could stay a little but we will have a lot of stress.

See what you think:

the only map i think we could stay on would be the very first one. We have good troops there. and they have difficult terrain to try and cross. Your call though! Smile

should we stay on kubishev? They have lots of panzers and its difficult to keep our supply vl if they push hard.

I think it would be wise to pull back from kubishev to Minina and fight it out as best we can on hill 120. only my opinion the guards in Minina would put a good battle!

We'll make moves in pictures above with the changes that:

1. Move 35 GDS from kubishev to Kuposnoye

2. Move the KV tank bg from Kuposnoye to grain elevator

3. 131 Rifle to Minina

i want to be sure were on the same page here before moves are made. First the KV BG is in Kuporosnoye. If we move it back to the grain elevator we will give them this map for free?

My suggestion was to move the Guards BG from Kuibyshev to Minina leaving the KV BG in Kuporsonoye. Then leaving the 131 Rifle Division at Hill 120 I believe they can defend this map a couple more turns. If they can't they will just respawn the next morning and we can move them where needed. But we will at least get one more battle out of the 131 rifle division at hill 120 and the gaurds will be set for an attack at Minina.

Let us know if this is the move that is to be made or if i am misunderstanding something. I don't beleive though you want to give them Kuporosnoye for free?

I wrote the wrong map names. See above (edited and now as I intended).

I want to keep our KV tank bgs from getting cut off supply wise for now.

Hill 112 there is not much cover and has some LOS bugs (like the T34 that was shot thru a building and killed. To hold it we have to use AT assets and we don't want to lose those (and with no cover its easy to kill them with mortar and infantry). So I'd rather fight in Minina with cover for our at and we can kill a lot of germans there (and there is a minefield we can use).

Hill 112 have several trees for small ats and a gully where we can hide ats but commander knows where we can defend better!

I don't know better, I know the same. We are all equal.

You're right, there are small trees to hide behind but I think they will find us with infantry and mortar them to death.

I'm more worried that they will move 29th Motorized to Minina soon and cut 131 Rifle off from supply in hill 112 if we stay there.
