General Ghoa is Strat Commander. Lt Panzermayer is 2nd in Command.

Post your strat move ideas, strat move orders, and map objectives here.

my idea for the general stratagy

all the support for the three southern BG`s (24PZ, 94ID and 29MD) and smash the russian line and try to reach as fast as possible the line/river Chuikov`s HQ - Tratistra crossing.

If we can do that, and i assume we move forward in the other sector`s also, we have a oppturnity to cutting them off there supply. because we can move from south to north accrose the river Wolga.

In the north and middle sector we try to move forward in hopping that we can draw enemy forces away from the south.

This is only a plan and in war a plan normally goes to hell after the firts shot. we need to be mobile in our strategy and relay on blitzkrieg because we cannot get ground up in the city and factory blocks.

7A_Ifoko and 7A_Kassad

Good posts, I like reading your AAR`s and I see good progress for the 6th Armee but next time please post the AAR`s in the AAR section of our HQ.

And feel free to make strategic suggestions, we need good soldiers like you that can make own decisions but before making strat.moves consult the rest of the 6th Armee Command so we can get consensus.

Keep up the good work Landser`s!

I like the idea, to roll out stalingrad from the south.

My suggestion: concentrate on the southern BGs, give them always support and figth there to get ground.
With the north BGs fight cautious, do not loose the Sturmgeschütze (StG, Tanks). Gain Ground without heavy losses, only.

Simple do nothing. Do not move any BG

Fight on the ground, and wait till next round as new reinforcements arrive.

Try to gain a Map.

Its good that the russians retreat, So we gain ground without have to fight,

Y, I also noticed. There are probably many tanks that want to rush from the side and cut off supply

So we have to move very slow and cautious.

Some Explanations:

KpFührertrupp = Company Commander, play with only 1 per BG and the commander should be a Captain (=Hauptmann, 2 gold), Do not let them die.

ZugFührertrupp = Platoonleader, play with 2 per BG and the commander should be Leutnants (= with full white the rank)

Stosstrupp = Storming infrantry, good for storming buildings

Späher = Scouts, the first one which see the enemy.

Schützen = basic Infantry

I usually make 2 Infantry Platoons with ZugFührer, 1 Späher, 2 Schützen, 1 MG34. The Rest is StG, Mortars,... (on a infantry BG)
